Stock market indices had a mixed week. The Dow (down 1.8%) and S&P 500 (down 0.6%) posted losses, while the Nasdaq saw a 0.3% gain.
But even with slight declines in the Dow and S&P 500, all three indices remain just a hair below all-time highs and seem on track to post their second significant up years in a row.
With all the substantial gains this year, is there anywhere to find good value for one’s money?
Some research from the Leuthold Group seems to think it may be worth going overseas in one’s search for value:
Maybe—even if one believes in the ongoing strength of the U.S. economy—that kind of valuation discount is worth looking into? Time will tell. However, deciding whether to lay one’s chips at that table must be made far before we know the eventual answer.
