ON MIKE’S MIND:
I’m taking this Father’s Day as a time to pause, reflect, and honor the men who shaped you and me — through wisdom, grit, or even their silence.
In the investment world, legacy isn’t just about numbers. It’s about passing down principles - values - that resonate across generations.
Here’s what a few men I admire have said about their fathers:
Warren Buffett:
“The best gift I ever got was to have a father like mine. He taught me integrity, kindness, and to never forget the inner scorecard.”Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn Co-Founder):
“My dad taught me to follow my curiosity and to question systems — which is the core of any good entrepreneurial path.”Sara Blakely (Spanx Founder):
“My dad used to ask us at dinner: ‘What did you fail at today?’ He normalized risk. That’s why I took big ones.”
This Father’s Day, take a moment to ask yourself:
What will I leave behind that my children — or the next generation — can grow from?
We at the CoInvestor Club believe legacy isn’t just financial. It’s about mindset. Clarity. Service. Vision.
And the courage to build something that gives others a running start.
So today, while you're with family — or remembering those who came before — take a moment to ask:
What kind of legacy am I crafting?
And what more could I do, now, to make it a reality?
With respect and resolve,
Mike and The Co/Investor Club Team
Investing Together. Building Legacy.

THE MARKETS
Perhaps you’ve heard rumors about conflict in the Middle East?
We are betting that the volatility will increase momentarily, oil price may spike sharply, but if things continue the way they are going, it may lead to a new period of stability. Let’s see what happened this week in the markets…
S&P 500: -0.61%, DJI: -1.35%, NASDAQ Composite: -1.00%
Yields fell this week, at some point this cycle of up then down 10 points is gonna run off one way or another
The 2-year fell 9 basis points to 3.95, while the 10-year fell 10 basis points to 4.41
BTC didn’t just break the $107,000 barrier, but the $110,000! It’s since slipped, but that is another threshold broken for one of the most influential cryptocurrencies
BTC: -0.51%, ETH: +0.91%, XRP: -1.06%

Publisher’s Note: Pain and Healing
Like many of you, I grew up in a Golden Age of America.
After Vietnam and the Oil Crisis and the lull of spirit in the late 70s (I used to complain then that after the cultural explosion of the sixties, the only cultural innovation we had in the 70’s was the Muppets)…
After all that tumult, we got to experience a unipolar world. The Evil Empire collapsed, tech burst out of Silicon Valley and we experienced prosperity like never before.
Yet, malice in the human, unfortunately, has not evolved into saintliness.
9/11 reminded us.
While we all would like simply to grow our portfolios and love our families, evil must be met.
With resolve.
I heard a powerful analogy made about today’s current politics and Lord of the Rings. Tolkein, who knew a thing or two about evil (the books were written significantly against the shadow of Naziism), wrote the the Hobbits lived in such peace and tranquility that they forgot that evil existed.
Yet Suaron rose, and had to be met.
And the little Hobbits had to wake up and through brotherhood and good-heartedness, resolve and leadership.
Too many young Americans are Hobbits.
They are rooting for Sauron.
I’ll be honest. I have a dog in this fight. I love Western culture. I love tolerance and freedom. Are we imperfect? Of course! Can we improve? We will. Is progress a steady arc? Hardly.
But the alternative - a world of oppression and fanaticism? No thank you.
On this Flag Day weekend (my birthday, as it turns out), let Freedom ring.
Even if we must go through violence to prevent a far greater violence.
Gratitude to our fathers on Father’s Day for doing what needed to be done to defeat tyranny.
May we teach our sons (and daughters) the same resolve.
