Top 50 Microcap Investors
We are excited to announce the Top 50 Microcap Manager project. During our time doing investor write-ups, we’ve had some exciting engagements. It’s wonderful to connect with brilliant investors and learn more about them. Our investor write-ups have not been limited to investors in microcaps strictly. The managers that we promote moving forward can be previous or current-day microcap enthusiasts.
Each week we will share one investor write-up from our Top 50 list. The investors that have been featured in write-ups in our previous weeks are also on our list. There is no order to this list. If you are interested in being featured or would like to nominate someone for the list, please contact Sam DiFiore at sam@avenelfinancial.com.
Top 50 Microcap Investor List: Adam Wilk
This week, as we begin our top 50 microcap investors list, we will explore some of the best investors found in the smallest companies. We aim to distill the most consistent and important lessons each week from our featured investors. We look forward to this research and hope you enjoy our results. Our first investor profiled will be Adam Wilk, founder and portfolio manager of Greystone Capital Management LLC. Greystone Capital is a “long only, equity focused Registered Investment Adviser” concentrated on “identifying mispriced small and microcap securities.” Throughout the firm’s first two years of operation, Adam has been able to establish himself as a premier manager in the microcap space. We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Adam who provided insight regarding his process and corresponding ascension on the MicroCapClub leaderboard.

Open Market Insider Buys This Week
We have received positive feedback from our Club members on our tracking of microcaps. Shortly we will open a blog on the Premium Member Portal where we will post these stock tickers more frequently.
Tickers with a * next to them have been mentioned by investors we follow.
ONLY FOR PREMIUM MEMBERS: We have added two filters into our company search alerts. These will provide us with information whenever a company has “share buybacks” or “stock is undervalued” in their new filings or transcripts. If you are a premium member and would like us to add in a new alert, please email Sam DiFiore at sam@avenelfinancial.com.
Failing Forward
We are starting a new newsletter segment called Failing Forward. In this section we will share stories about dealing with failure and overcoming adversity to lead to life success. If you have a story for this segment please reach out to us!
In a bit of Optimism podcast hosted by Simon Sinek, we hear from entrepreneur and author, Suneel Gupta. In this episode, he focuses on failure and how your biggest failures lead to your biggest successes. Gupta emphasizes the importance of being open about your failures and encourages conversations to learn from them. Another concept they touch on is teamwork and leaning on others for support.
